Hey! I've just got the video of this concert. Cool!!! But does anybody now how much songs did they really played? cause i have 16 songs, but there is one missing number, so i thought, that there might be 17. And is there any special name for mix of Step Up & Nobody's Listening & It's Goin' Down? And who wrote song Wish, sang by LP on this concert? (I didn't understand what Chester said) Who heard it? Or seen video?
"Wish" is a Nine Inch Nails song. There isn't really a special name for the mix "Step Up/Nobody's Listening/It's Going Down". It's just a medley put together. I have 17 total songs from the whole concert. 01. Don't Stay 02. Lying From You 03. Papercut 04. Points of Authority 05. With You 06. Runaway 07. Step Up/Nobody's Listening/It's Going Down 08. Somewhere I Belong 09. From The Inside 10. Breaking The Habit 11. Numb 12. Faint 13. In The End 14. A Place For My Head 15. Crawling 16. Wish 17. One Step Closer
i have the dvd.... its pretty cool. although i think the show i saw them at was a lot better but then again iam bias! (manchester MEN '03) dont ask for mp3s or videos....
I love it it is much better than the original one of Nine Inch Nails [/b][/quote] This is a false statement. The NIN version of Wish owns all. Especially live, that can just kill a mosh pit.
I like the LP version of Wish more than the original NIN one because I feel Chester puts more emotion into it, and I can really feel it. I have the whole concert too, btw, and I think it's awesome. I'm supposed to burn it to a CD for a friend, but I don't have time.
Does anybody know who is showed on the video when Chester says - We're going to play a song by somebody else. How many of you guys have heard about the band NIN? Tell me please... Thanx. And also one more question about Live In Texas. It was only LP cocert, or there were other bands singing? Same question about Rock Am Ring.
Yes, because a song about being screwed over by a record company and being in a lawsuit over it and just tellin ght record company to go fuck themselves ISN'T emotion. SergSlim: It's Avril Lavigne, who was ALSO headlining Rock Am Ring at that date.
None of the songs on "Broken" are about the record company, except for Happiness In Slavery to an extent. The record itself is a big fuck you to TVT Records, though.
Yes it really was the best LP show that I've ever seen... And I saw it LIVE, I stood in the third or four row and during the "Go Away" bridge of "A Place For My Head" Chester was in the crowd... Damn he was maybe 20 meters away from me... ^^ I tried to get to him but there was no chance because everybody wanted to him... haha... But that concert was definitely the best experience in my life!
sinse this is a "Rock AM Ring" thread...could someone post what all songs they played at Rock AM Ring in 2001?
01: With You 02: Runaway 03: Papercut 04: By Myself 05: Points of Authority 06: High Voltage 07: Crawling 08: Pushing Me Away 09: And One 10: In The End 11: A Place For My Head 12: Forgotten 13: Sweet Child Of Mine (Guns & Roses Cover. They didn't play the whole song though) 14: One Step Closer
