Is there a way to save streaming video to your computer, with sound and lossless quality? If not is it possible to save it at all?
The video has to be uploaded to some host. You can right click on the page and "view source". Go through the text file until you find the "avi", "mpg", "wmv", "asf", etc. files. Copy the entire link to the video file onto a website, right click and save target as. You'll download it straight to your computer from the host. Might not work with flash files.
If it's a live video stream, chances are there won't be a link to save the video in the source page, but there are programs that would allow you to record audio/video from a live stream. Any audio editor for the most part can rip audio from a live stream, just go into Volume Control, click Properties, and go to Recording, and make sure you have it set on Stereo Mix or whatever setting would be the sound coming from inside your computer. I don't know much about ripping a live video stream though...
Or if the vid is playing on the page and you have Mozilla Firefox you can go to Tools, then click on Page Info, then Media (Which will show you all the objects on the page (i.e. pictures background), and search for the file which would be under the type "Embed", after u find the vid file click save as.
Would that work for live video? [/b][/quote] Live streaming video is what you want to rip? High tech shit is needed for that.
