As long as it sounds nothing like those two albums you've mentioned, I'll be fine. I don't mind them going hard rock again, but I think the band has the right idea right now and I'd hate to see them throw this "creative streak" they've been having out the window.

I wouldn't mind if they hard rock again too, but I agree with you... The creative streak their in right now needs to be fulfilled, I really believe LP will shock the world with this record like they did with ATS, who knows maybe it'll a combination album of all albums...But with a new twist, new experimentation, unique sounds

I want LP's next album to be something that the "mainstream" has never heard before, something so different, but so good. I hope Rick Rubin can help with this.

Rubin will push them so their next record will include digitized Bjork wails, a wall of banjos, ten minutes of radio fuzz in the middle of the album, a remix of the remix of "In the End" (which will just be the original "In the End"), a passer-by's dog on backing vocals, furkels, an A# chord where an A# chord has no business being whatsoever, fart sounds, a political speech from Katherine Heigl, a second, larger wall of banjos, and a very special spoken verse appearance from noted transgender porn star Gillian Manderson.

You want LP to go into the genre of noise?

Rick Rubin will make them go beyond the genre of noise. Beyond genre altogether. Beyond music and art. Beyond space and time. Beyond the concept of beyond. They will be and they will not be, and we will all stand in the sometimes-shadow of their glorious transience.

I think LP should release a CD with literally nothing on it.

Mike to his fans: "Instead of us making music that you might not like, we've released a blank CD where you can put whatever music you want on it. Now we can all be happy!"

Whatever this DaMu is on, I want to stockpile it and profit off the addicts that want it in their lives.

Usually when I post in a topic, it's a sign that things will soon go off the deep end.
