Today Linkin Park will be playing an outdoor mini-concert in Hollywood, CA as part of Jimmy Kimmel Live! where songs from the performance will air over the course of two consecutive nights; both tonight (06/27) and tomorrow (06/28) on the late night chat show. Tickets were available through the 1iota website with a few being released to LPU members earlier this week. The show is sold out and will begin at around 6:45PM PST today. That performance of Burn It Down was just okay! Damn those late night show acoustics! Plus (as always) the crowd could be a bit more lively, which always seems to have an effect. Hoping for better tomorrow!
You know, I actually thought Mike and Chester both sounded really good tonight. I have to say though, Chester really struggles with the word "up" in the chorus of BID. Don't scream it bro, if I can hit that fucking note, I know he can. Other than that, he was totally awesome. Do wish the guitar was a bit louder in the mix though. I've been liking that of their live performances of that song.
Either Conan or Jimmy Fallon. Only late night talk show hosts I can tolerate. I miss the perfect lineup of Conan followed by Jimmy. That was heaven. ^^
