My guess (emphasis on "guess,") is that after over a decade of drumming such drum-heavy music, his hearing might be in jeopardy. So to protect his hearing from further damage, he might now be using headphones that offer better protection. The curse of a drummer.
Chester was completely off in the 1st chorus of crawling. Past 3-4 performances he has seemed kinda off. Dunno why. Crawling was always a hard song for him. But he never struggled so much.
^ Thought the same thing. He's said before that holding essentially that one note throughout the chorus is difficult.
the sound is so fuckin low, myspace fails so hard hopefully it will be ripped and uploaded to youtube with a normal sound...
Yeah. He mentioned that he regretted making the chorus of crawling so high. In the actual song, he scream-sings. But since past 6-7 years, he doesn't scream, he just sings it. However past 2-3 live shows, his voice seems to have lost its stability. Hope its just temporary. He is among the best singers out there. It'd be a shame to see him struggle like this for every show. Chester has always skipped the scream portion of In the End past 5-6 years since MTM. I miss hearing him sing that portion.
Well he sang BID flawlessly lol. Go figure. Age happens to everyone, even Chester though. To still be able to sing the song is incredible. I still give him more than full credit, the guy is a beast.
DID THEY JKUST FUCKIN CUT BLEED IT OUT ON SABOTAGE PART COVER WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS SHIT/???????????????
