Charity concerts, one of which will raise funds for Linkin Park and the Red Cross of America's charity fund 'Music For Relief', have been announced. Linkin Park will not be playing in it, first off. The January 12th concert, which features performances by My Chemical Romance, Taking Back Sunday, Coheed and Cambria, Senses Fail, The Banner, and Like Yesterday, takes place at the Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, New Jersey. Profits from this concert will be donated to the 'Music For Relief' fund. Click here for more info. More bands have joined the charity fund, including Tom Morello (Audioslave, ex-Rage Against The Machine), The Used, Taking Back Sunday, The Starting Line, Trapt, Lloyd Banks, and Young Buck. Kudos to the bands who are participating. Shame LP is in progress of making a new album, otherwise they'd probably be in the concert aswell [i'm guessing that's why they're not in it]. Why is there never a good concert in Winnipeg!? [Well, other than the KsE one on jan 11th.]
Too bad you've gotta be 18+...missed it by a month and a day (Feb. 12th is my 18th)... I was gonna try for tickets till I heard about the age limit...damn...meh, if LP comes to someplace like Minneapolis soon, I'm in

[/b][/quote] Sorry to be off-topic, but I just read that Howard Jone's voice is blown, and won't be able to be the vocalist for KsE for a few shows. SOURCE: RashRock.com Back on topic: It looks like they have a pretty good lineup for the benefit concert. Maybe they'll even make a DVD of it!

I'll pay for my own ticket, I swear! How many of these concerts are they going to do?
It's great that more artists in the music biz are getting involved with the charity and the donations, all thanx 2 LP.
Its Pretty Cool to go back the Music For Relief Site and see the list of the artists supporting the cause growing by the day. It really shows that tragedy can bring people together to help less fortunate people in their time of need.
