I wonder if Linkin Park will ever come back to America soon. It's been forever since they last toured here. #NoOriginality
Hey hey hey....get in line behind me and my all important 'will you be touring in Australia soon plz' question. Srs business, mate.
They would fly from far north, right? So technically they'll land at Indonesia first, get a couple of shows done here, while refueling their jet before they come to you guys.
Is Reddit considered a major platform for social media? I don't extensively use social media, just occasionally browse Facebook, Flickr, and Instagram pages (no accounts of my own). I just hope that this will be an effective means for Mike to communicate with the fans and others who are interested, and ideally spark some hype for the next studio album or something Fort Minor-related. If I were participating, I would definitely ask Mike if he had any additional plans for Fort Minor, including getting Tak and Ryu back on board for at least a few new songs. Fort Minor just doesn't feel the same without the diverse collaborations and guest spots. I would also ask if the band is going to continue its vision that it started when making The Hunting Party, or if THP is going to directly influence the next album. I find it somewhat hard to believe that LP would abandon its vision for rock after just one album and revert to doing something that is contrary to that vision.
Reddit is closer to a message board or an imageboard than a service like Twitter and Instagram. It isn't considered a social network per se
I saw, congrats! Bloody thread was put up at 5:55 instead of 6... so I was 4 minutes late. Those few minutes are huge, there were already 120 comments when I got there.
Same! For those of you who are new to browsing Reddit, make sure to select "q&a" in the "sorted by:" dropdown. Some quotes which we've just added to the original post: On how the band develops new music ideas: On Linkin Park's "divided fanbase": On Linkin Park's musical evolution: On the musical similarities between "Victimized" and "A Line In The Sand": On sandwich preferences: On comparing music-streaming platforms: Feel free to post your own favourite questions/answers from the AMA below!
I don't feel like they're actually making ''the best music they can''. I love LP but stuff like Until It's Gone shows that they're not. Also, for me, reddit eliminates the need for most forums, I don't need to join some GTA, Fallout, wrestling or Radiohead forum when reddit has great subreddits for each, which I can use with one account, it has shit subs too of course, the LP sub is not great, most of the default subs aren't great either.
