I've heard that the PS3's Bluray is pretty sweet and it doesn't have long loading time like some Bluray players out there.

For a TV, get a Samsung.

    For a BluRay, get a PS3.

Blu-ray : PS3. Not only do you get a Gaming system, you can get quite possibly the best Blu-ray player along with it!

Any tv, 20"+ 1080p, and a good refresh rate .

It was $400 when I got it over a year ago but I think they've come down in price a lot since then.

I have Phillips for both. Phillips stuck out for me as far as the tv. The res was better than anything @ the store. Wasn't impressed with Sony at all. I wouldnt suggest getting the phillips Blue-ray as its loading time is slow. The Tv is great though!
