For fans who are choosing to avoid the leak, all of the tracks from Linkin Park's upcoming remix album "RECHARGED" have been uploaded exclusively for streaming at theMusic.com.au via Warner Music International's official SoundCloud account. "RECHARGED" is set to be released in less than a week on October 29. UPDATE: unfortunately, the stream seems to only be available for Australian fans, who can check it out here. UPDATE 2: MTV has also provided a stream for fans in the Netherlands here. UPDATE 3: MTV has uploaded the album for fans in the US as well here. The "theMusic.com.au" link works fine for me, and i'm in the UK. First time listening to it as i couldn't find the link.. pretty awesome and only 2 tracks in.. i'm gonna like it . Maybe only people in the US can't use the link? :S
MTV's is working fine in the US. Spoiler Alert: Didn't realize I hadn't heard STB yet, awesome new verses from everyone!
Terrible IMO. Only songs i don't hate are A Light That Never Comes and same song remixed by Rick Rubin. This album is way too electronic for me.
Agreed with your reaction to that article. I've never read such a bullshit review. It's like the person was completely unaware of Linkin Park's past catalog and completely ignored how genre busting and ambitious ATS was and didn't even listen to Reanimation. To claim that reanimations songs weren't reinterpretations is just showing ignorance to the band's music. Then they make a claim that it's a sign of the direction the band is heading in when they (Linkin Park) have said several times that the next record will likely sound nothing like what's on this album. I like recharged and it's growing on me more with each listen but I cannot stand when reviewers pull shit out of their ass and don't research. It completely eliminates all credibility they have.
