i just have to question... how you could actually call reanimation a mistake? i mean i don't mean to sound like an obsessed fan (though i am) but nothing they have ever done, in my opinion has been a mistake... i am not the biggest fan of remixes, because they usually suck, but these remixes, time was actually spent on and all of them are good... but you know that is just me. so you can think what you want

Maybe Not all the reanimation songs are an improvement from the hybird theory version , But their are so many music styles on it .
You just can't call it a mistake , maybe the lyrics aren't that good an all the songs , But the album is great ^_^ I like It more then hybrid theory because of the difference beteewn the songs :). I don't think their are opinions to call it a mistake

I think that Reanimation shouldn't be compared to Hybrid Theory. The only real trace apart from the basic melody lines, is the lyrics, and even that was modified heavily.

I loved some of the songs more, like Pushing Me Away remix etc, whereas I can't really compare One Step Closer with it's remix, they're both awesome!

Overall, Reanimation ruled, but I guess some people thought LP was being a bit cocky making a remix album after one album.

Linkin Park made the right decision to create Reanimation... They maybe got the timing a bit wrong... But it was a great way for the guys in the band to mess around with different things and learning to understand what other people would have done with the song if they had created it. It's being creative... And in this case, it worked well. No matter what the critics say about Reanimation, it's still a great piece of creativeness.

Well i pretty much like it because there are only 2 songs that i really can not stand: H! Vltg3 and X-Ecutioner Style. All the songs are cool. I especially like Krwlng...that song is WAY different than the original.

Agreed. Seems most reviewers thought that, and they just didn't like the album. No idea why! It's a pretty good album. If it wasn't for Reanimation, we might never have P5hng Me Aw*y! And that's one of their best songs!

Try saying that to the two million people who bought the album causing it to go double-platinum. :)
