It's downright chilly this morning.
>Imagine Dragons write a song, ''Radioactive''.
>They want to enhance the live experience, so they add a new intro and breakdown for the song.
>It's a good song, it breaks many Billboard records and wins a Grammy for Best Rock Song.
>They are invited to perform at the Grammys, and so is Kendrick Lamar.
>Kendrick Lamar wants to team up with Imagine Dragons for the performance. Let's check our books to find more rock bands that have teamed up with a rap artist even bigger than themselves to perform at the Grammys. Oh yeah, number one is our very own Linkin Park!
>It's a good performance, highlight of the evening.
>They release a studio version to keep fans occupied.

Welcome to the new age?
I've learned more so from Imagine Dragons than any other artist that when the artist becomes popular, to totally ignore the songs you like so they aren't ruined from overplay. ID has easily become overplayed for me without actively listening to them. That's saying something.
I've honestly disliked ID overall from the first time I stumbled on their album on Spotify, before ever hearing about them prior to that.
I never said it was for a movie, I said they were sellouts because they wrote a ton of music for movies, AND, they released a new version of a song. Two separate ideas.
Filip will defend Imagine Dragons with his life. #Fanboy
Well the sellout argument is pretty stupid and it always has been. Aside from this Transformers collaboration, I don't think any of the songs they had written or put on those soundtracks were actually used in the movies and Alex Da Kid is all about promotion and getting his bands names everywhere. He's doing it with X Ambassadors too so I wouldn't be surprised to see their name everywhere soon.
You know I will. #fanboy
But seriously, if the band didn't put out music for movies, we'd be without anything new since September 2012. That's why it's good.
Just rename this thread to Imagine Dragons an get it over with
Most bands are sell-outs nowadays. Just sayin'
This is the longest discussion on RANDOM thoughts I've seen
Now that it's summer, I'm excited to be on GTA V again.
wow, like 4 pages are filled with ID. didnt even notice.
I don't know their music but their name really sucks.
Two words: Hip pimple.
That is all.
Not sure if I want to buy Storm Corrosion's self-titled, Killer Be Killed's self-titled, or Michael Jackson's Xscape.... decisions, decisions.
EDIT: I ended up getting both Killer Be Killed and Storm Corrosion, thanks to a friend having a 5 dollar Best Buy coupon. WOO!

Nothing more fun being the sober one of the family!
Ha! Sure as hell ain't me!
Major TV Series Ending After Next Year's Season:
Two and a Half Men
Parks and Recreation
Sons of Anarchy
Although I believe some of these series have overstayed their welcome, the fact that there's a lot of acclaimed shows on this list about to end is freaking depressing.
Dis new Coldplay album.
