    Well, I met a girl early on while I was here, and I ended up liking her quite a bit. After asking her out, it turned out that she was a lesbian. I got over that, and then there was a girl in my Statistics class who happened to be pretty cool and I thought that maybe I should pursue her. Today I found out she has a boyfriend. I dno. It just kinda sucks.

    And Berkeley is great, and I'm really enjoying California. I just feel like every time there's some sort of opportunity, it ends up not working out in my favor. I really hate it.

    Yeah, I know. It's just frustrating. Last year really sucked, and I got my hopes up quite a bit with the first girl because she and I had a lot in common and got along super well. It's just one of those things that I actually never envisioned happening to me. Oh well.

    I haven't left the Bay Area yet, and it's doubtful that I will. First I need to go see the city and then I'll see if I can expand to other parts of the state.
