    I've had two Xbox 360s die on me. Luckily I've been able to get them repaired without charge, but seriously, in all my years of gaming, this has been the most frustrating for me. I can't play my consoles without the lingering fear of the hardware just flat out dying on me. I mean, I still play my SNES and the worst thing happens is the cartridge doesn't work, and even then, all I have to do is blow into it a couple of times and it's good to go. Ugh! /rant

    And yeah, it looks like I'm moving on to a PS3 Slim now. It also looks like I'm hooking my PS2 up to my HDTV... I somehow think the upscaling isn't going to be as great as it was on the PS3... :lol:

    I still play my N64. It's amazing how older consoles last longer than the more recent.
    Maybe if you wait a little longer you can get another PS3 with the backwards compatibility. You can always play SNES.

    Tentatively, yes, I will be playing with the band for a few gigs. Starting tomorrow I'll be learning their full seven song set. I'll be using Dylan's gear and a bass from Brandon (mine isn't gig quality by a long shot). I could be playing a gig as soon as that August 14th show but it's low pressure for me to learn by then; they're willing to go without a bassist for that night.

    Just got the same model a few weeks ago. It's amazing it's flawless as far as I can tell!

    No word from Brandon yet on practice. He's probably still working. Looks like if it's still on for tonight they're planning for an all nighter.
