It's awesome. I like the full keyboard, it makes typing so much easier than on my old phone. Plus, and I'm not sure if this is carrier-dependent (I have T-Mobile) it has built-in AIM, Yahoo, GTalk and MSN, and a built-in Facebook app as well.

 

Okay wow, the Blackberry you have Todd is far better then the one my dad has .

I'm in the market for a new phone, my Razr has seen it's better days. Do T-Mobile give you a discount if you get the Curve through them, meaning if you're a pre-existing T-Mobile customer?

 

Yeah, I was still in contract, so I got only a $100 discount, bringing the phone to $400 after fees and tax (yeah, I know, a lot) by renewing it for another 2 years. If you're out of contract, or very close to the end of contract (like maybe a month), then you'll get a HUGE discount if you renew for 2 years. I know for new customers, the Curve is $150 after mail-in rebates. You'll probably get that same deal if you're out of contract.

Also, if you're out of contract, I've heard of people getting even better deals by calling up T-Mobile, saying you're considering canceling because some other carrier is offering the same phone for a really cheap price, and they'll give you an even better deal to keep you. YMMV.

 

Wow. I wonder if we're close to end of contract then, that's freaking fantastic deal wise.

 

Yeah, you ought to call (or your dad or whoever's name the account is in) them and find out what sort of deal they can give you.

 

My brother owns the contract, I'll have him call in.

Any other suggestions for great phones? I'm getting tired of my Razr only holding like 60 msgs (inbox + outbox) tops. I go through that in an hour sometimes .
