So the "Castle of Glass" video reached 100 million views on Youtube, making it the fifth most-watched video on Youtube (behind ITE, Numb, WID and New Divide). I never knew that song was huge in other countries @_@
^Congrats to you for the 600th reply! And yes, I've found that a surprisingly large number of people know about "CASTLE OF GLASS".
I hate my classmates who tell me they love LP and then know CoG and ALTNC. When you know WTCFM by heart, then we'll talk.
I agree that people use the word "obožavati" too liberally, but I dislike the second half of your post... it's like you're setting up conditions necessary to be a "real" fan or something.
I guess this isn't front page news or something so I'll drop it here. http://www.hypebot.com/hypebot/2014/12/linken-park-chooses-self-management.html So what exactly does this mean? Also, I like how he says: "the innovative ideas the band plans to pursue in the coming years". Seems like the band won't be taking a break any time soon.
Well, I don't know much about how well-equipped LP are to handle their own management duties but they could always give it a try ... and, if it goes south, they could just find a new manager, I guess
Seeing as though there's no other place for this, I'd like to announce that I've made a pretty damn good imitation of the When They Come for Me heavy synth by running my keyboard through a distortion pedal. All hail ATS.
"That's ego, greed, and selfishness at play. Forgoing a proper manager, means operating without any objectivity in your organization. They'll be surrounded by "yes" people and their career will suffer. The management team deserves credit and compensation for everything they've done to get the band where it is now, and just because the band members have gown into adults, that doesn't mean that should cast aside their early mentors and champions. Managers (the good ones) serve an integral role, and while the band may not like that they're not as hot as they once were, their career still needs over-site and guidance." Agreeing mostly with this...If the band REALLY IS selfish and greedy
Oh, make no mistake about it, they definitely are. The fact that they have their own charity organisation is proof enough. If you gave him the chance, Shinoda would hurt you and everyone you cared about, in addition to stealing all of your money.
Well, that guy is REALLY wrong. Mike and Chester may say some dumb shit on interviews but otherwise, all of them are really intelligent. If you go to MFR's page, Brad and Rob have positions in the organization(Rob is financial executive I think) And for all the charity work they do, they seem pretty aware of the world and their fanbase. And it's not like all the decisions they've made so far are genius and right They've always been more involved in the band's other duties and seriously, we even have a smiley of Adam and we know several of the behind the scenes people. It's not like the band act like they're above their teams. You know what, there's a early LPTV where they even even fuck around in a hotel with some of their staff I think Look, since THP, Mike has made it clear that success is not a big deal to them anymore and they've had a lifetime of success so, we'll see.
