The Bends and OK Computer are my favorite albums by them so far. As for their later releases, I usually listen to Hail to the Thief and In Rainbows.
They're really good at what they do. I liked In Rainbows, but don't really care for their other stuff. These guys are really different from other bands out there, even til this day.
So there's been hardly any news about their new album. I guess they're going to work on it longer than I thought?
I love Radiohead. A lot. OK Computer and In Rainbows are my favorite albums. Everything else is pretty good, but I have not heard Pablo Honey and I'm not the biggest fan of The Bends. I love listening to them, though. I really do.
I love all of their stuff. Their creative minds are pretty much top of the line. I still think they are overrated, though. They aren't as unbelievably special as most people claim.
This. I really don't understand what is so great about them. Radiohead bores me, while Muse has this constant falsetto that annoys the hell out of me.
The lead singer for Muse uses a ton of vibrato, too. It's really annoying at first. I really love that band, though. Probably more than Radiohead. Their instrumentation blows the roof off. And from only 3 people. It's crazy. I'm seeing them live in about a month.
I'm with Jay, I hate Radiohead, most boring band ever, his voice is so annoying, it sounds like a drone attempting to sing. I also hate Muse.
Dislike how they sound if you like, but I don't understand how you can say boring? Musically they're incredibly unique, as far as rock music goes.
It makes me sad when I see that people *hate* Radiohead and *hate* Muse. But, to each his/her own. I truly do believe, though, that if you haven't listened to In Rainbows, and if you haven't listened to Absolution, then you can't truly say that you've decided that you can hate Radiohead or Muse because those works truly define them. That is just me, though. And I admittedly have some bias, because I love both of those bands.
I'm firmly entrenched in the "I don't give a damn about Radiohead's music" camp (I've heard plenty of music from them, by the way), but I'll settle on saying that "Their music bores me" as opposed to "Their music is [inherently] boring" to avoid testing their fans' patience. Muse, on the other hand, is just epic is every way possible and easily one of my favorite bands ever. I loved The Resistance, and Black Holes & Revelations is one of my all-time favorite albums.
