Radio 1 To Air Download Festival 2011 Audio Tonight

    Thanks to mikeshinodaclan.com for the heads up, it seems Radio 1 in the UK will be airing a Download Festival special tonight on The Rock Show with Daniel P Carter. They'll be playing live audio from this past weekends festival, including Linkin Park. There's no telling how many songs, as they'll be playing highlights from a lot of the bands who performed over the course of the weekend.

    The show airs from 9PM - 12AM and you can listen online at the following times:

    9:00PM GMT | 10:00PM CET | 4:00PM ET | 1:00PM PT

    You can check out the setlist and more information about Linkin Park's performance last night in the show thread.

    I don't really mind what they play really, but I'm almost certain they'll start switching it up when they get to Germany. It's only been 4 shows this summer in total and only 2 in Europe, and although they've played the same songs at all shows and the same set 3 times in a row, it's not a big deal. People over-exaggerate about the set so much, especially when it's mostly coming from people who aren't even attending the shows, lol. Just give them time to feel out the festivals and let them play what they want. I'm sure changes will be coming.

    I like how your heavy setlist includes, of all things, Breaking The Habit, Iridescent and Numb.

    And excludes Faint.

    of course proshot will be. 9th and 10th July Sky Arts 1 in the UK will shown videos in proshots.

    Hell, was too bored and listened.
    Faint live was actually pretty amazing.

    EDIT: Oh shoot, it was really amazing because Chester gave that last scream at the end of the outro.

    Heard this on BBC iPlayer. Still there I believe, 3 hours of highlights from the festival. Very good, yet they only played 2 (maybe three) LP songs. Made it up with 30 minutes of uninterrupted System of a Down though. :awesome:
