It's not going to be on the album. I had a thought, though. LP said Rick Rubin helped them change Qwerty from the live to the studio version. Does this mean he could've messed up more potentially good songs?

I love the live version! Well I don't really like the song, lyric wise, it's all a bit like I've heard it before...But in the live version Chester and Mike work well together and Brad's guitar playing is a lot better. The studio version is just so dead. It's like they weren't even trying or trying too hard...I'm not sure

I think the live version is better than the demo one , its more aggresive and powerful.

Qwerty, qwerty, qwerty.. what have you done to us??..
This song has brought so much attention because of this weird sound it has..
    Mmm interesting..
To be honest, I just think this whole Qwerty demo was recorded by the band and released in LPU6 just to kinda know how the fans reacted to it... which makes sense.. But yet, most of the fans like qwerty live...

When I heard Qwerty demo for the first time I was like: "What that heck is this?, this is so freaking weird..." and I didn't like it at all..
I guess that Qwerty demo didn't answer any of my questions or satisfied my excitment... but it did all the opposite, it just brought up more questions like: Is this the new sound?, What if it's not?, Then what that heck would it be?, why did they change their nu-metal sound to this??.. Is this good or bad??, etc...
It took me like 20 times listening to Qwerty demo to finally come up with "omg omg.. this IS Linkin Park... And it's not weird after all.."

why are we all disliking qwerty demo??
My answer: We are just not ready yet for that new sound from them.. of course it would be good for the band to change, but what that heck.. They should have stayed nu-metal and that's it.. They were just perfect the way they were and now this Qwerty-demo song ruined it. (This is probably everybody's thougths regarding to this song)..

Of course Rob said Qwerty was the strongest song the band has ever written, and it's kinda a relief for the fans.. but what if it's not... I mean Qwerty- live was just like any Linkin Park/nu-metal song.. the only difference was Chester screaming harder and freaking cooler and louder...and that's it...
But Qwerty-demo just have to make us understand that "DUDE, Linkin Park IS NOT the same anymore.."
I don't think you guys think of this as I do, but I just thought of telling you guys about it so you could think it over..
What's to be prepared by the band for the fans?? Only they know..
But I have a feeling this album is going to be more than good..
So don't be freaking out and being like "omg omg omg Linkin Park is not nu-metal anymore!!".... Just give the band an opportunity..

It's going to work out just perfect (I hope)!!

Live version of Qwerty sounds like a song that wasn't good enough even for Meteora.
Studio version of Qwerty sounds better than any song on Meteora.

I thought both versions were quite awesome. The live version i liked mroe at first, only cause it was the first version i'd heard, but the mroe i listened to the studio version the more it grew on me. I just liked it cause it shows how much Rick Rubin had helped change LP, and the fact that chester's screaming was freakin insane in qwerty only gives me high hopes for the enw album, if qwerty is any kind of sign as to what the new album will be like.

Hard question. I think I'd rather listen to the studio quality to spare my ears lol.

Today I decided that I like the studio version better.

That'll probably change in time, however.
