So this is basically for anyone who really knows about Hi-Fi audiophile headphones. So I bought a pair of brand new Sennheiser Hd 595's. I'm just wondering if a break in period is needed and if so how long the break-in period is/last. Also is an AMP really required? I picked up a cheap one (Fiio e5) that works good for my GF's around the ear bose. Ive read mixed reviews on this amp but it's cheap and thats why I went with it. SO what do you intelligent LPA members think? ^_^

Takes about 50 hours of relatively loudness to break in. :)

For best performance, yes, Amp is good but I don't know too much about amps.

Thanks for the reply! :) Do you have any good Audio gear? I read that it could take up to 300 Hrs. of break in time. I hope to god not. They didnt sound the best when I 1st got them but theyre starting to sound a lot better (even with my fiio e5) The 595's leak sound so bad which is the only negitive so far. But today I took a listen to New Divide on em and it sounded like I was standing right in front of LP. Anyways ill stop blabbing.
