Yep. The last time they played the oringal version of Pushing Me Away was durning thier show at Foro Sol, Mexico City, Mexico in 2002 to end the Hybrid Theory Touring cycle. They usaly played it right before Crawling or In The End.
Sure. They also played it at Rock am Ring '01. And on the most concerts before they released Reanimation and started touring with Meteora.
i got a show of LPs when they were performing for radio one (a UK radio station) and they gave the fans a choice between pushing me away and high voltage. joe kept on messing the intros up, its quite funny to hear mike get annoyed with him on stage. iam not sure of the date but i think it was just a little after 9/11 because they mention that as well....
i guess they played this song on each show of the "hybrid theory" touring cycle. maybe they didnt take this song into the ozzfest-set back in 2001 (maybe it was too calm haha). i heard lots of live versions of "pushing me away".
yeh i was thinking that too - but when you listen to it more carefully you can hear that all the band members have major parts in this song - which sound ace live!
i've only ever seen the reanimation version live...it's okay but i would like to see them play the original one live....
i dont know. i think that "pushing me away" sounds boring when they play it live. you know just take " a place for my head" or "with you". these songs sound a bit different then the cd version, but "pushing me away" sounds really just like on cd.
Yeah, and I've seen a video of them playing the original version live. They had it on the original Linkin Park section of the Warner Bros. website. But they changed and removed the performances when Meteora was released. I wish they didn't.
on one of the fan sites listed on the offical Linkin Park site there is a live acoustic version of Pushing Me Away
