"Newbie" gives the connotation of being young and that is just fine with me I vaguely remember someone talking about LPA last year, but I didn't really take an interest. That changed when I read an article about the LP/Jay-Z collaboration in the LA Times. Ah yes, I am "Stacy"! I am the LPUer that posted the infamous LA Times article without documentation (yes, I have realized the foolishness of my ways and have since changed) Well, it wasn't a problem until I read the LPA thread about this. Someone else had posted and then well, uh, you know. . . I actually found it quite amusing. Now I am enjoying reading everyone's opinions of LP and different other things. You have quite a good thing you have going on here.
Welcome aboard! Please check out the 'rules' and the 'guide' that is posted here in the 'newbie camp'.
Thanks for welcoming me! Yup, I've already read through them, although, it's mainly common sense. I guess you still need to have them there anyway
And its good to read the rules/guide because you cant dou.. trip.. uhh.. post alot in a row Welcome to the boards anyway
Hi Marj! It's nice to "meet" you and thank you for the good wishes. [/b][/quote] Ehm really, Chris is right Don't make double posts, there is an edit button. You can edit with it.
Thank you, everyone, for enlightening me. I get it now! Duh, this old dog/new tricks thing has become a reality I guess when I read "double post" I thought it was something else. Also, I wanted to make sure to thank every person for stopping by and didn't even think that I could do that all in one post. And to think that I really thought I knew what I was doing. Jeesh, I really need to keep up! Will: Yah, I work with Junior Highers and they used to sing that all the time and I'd pretend to be mad. Since my peers don't even know that song, well, I didn't have to deal with them. Plus my mom is like a second mom to them, so that would gross them out. By the way, my mom is 59, so she doesn't really "have it goin' on", at least not in the same way as Rachel Hunter. Although, my mom has to have it going on in a way that all my friends consider her a mentor! UndeadMaster: That's very nice of you!
