Hey I just got their first CD "Introduction To Mayhem" yesterday from my friend Cliff, and it's been in my CD player ever since. They were on the same label as Thrice (Island/Def Jam) and released two CD's on "Introduction To Mayhem" and "(The)New Release" before they had a bitter fallout with their record company Island Records in which they quit in June of 2002. I suggest for you guys to take a listen to the CD if you haven't already, I never was good at hyping bands up but the guy freaks the f*ck out when he's singing and I usually dont like that but this is the first CD I really rocked out to, I didn't even go this crazy to Meteora when I first heard it. I sugges the following songs if you want a taste: "Loose" "Set It Off" "Dose" "Stain" They are rap-metal but they aren't as serious as Linkin Park. That doesn't keep me from enjoying them though.
They're good... "Set It Off" is fun. I know Bobby Burns had the side project band Beautiful, but does anyone know how long ago they broke up? I had only heard a couple songs, but they were cool...
Well, in late 2002 it was reported that they were working on a followup to "(the) New Release" WITHOUT the support of Island Records. However that news was posted in late 2002 so it's probably safe to assume that the band has decided to break up. They broke up either in 2002 or 2003 and it was probably because they got sick of funding everything because Island wouldn't help out.
