I think that the band still loves nu- metal, but now they wanted to do something different, something more creative and i have to say i'm loving their new style. I'm in love with Given Up and Leave out all the rest.

    Hah, that would be it.

The progression and regression of Mike's vocabulary based off of his various contributions to LP, Fort Minor, and other collaborations has been one thing that's always intrigued me.

I always preferred his rapping in the non-mainstream songs. The stuff from the Hybrid Theory EP is tremendously better than any of the stuff on the LP. The reworked versus on Reanimation are much better. The stuff on Fort Minor (when he's not doing the obligatory show-off songs) is fantastic, especially stuff like Right Now and Cigarettes.

If changing the sound and their approach to music brings back the non-mainstream Mike, plus a deeper sound musically...then I'm all for it. That's the intent and the execution that I hear in these clips, and that's a very good thing.

I think Linkin Park may get more respect from the music industry for their music out of this album than the fun, energetic but cookie-cutter style nu-metal that they had in their first two albums.

    It's all so different...

but it's got me intrigued. And curious about what they'll do on their NEXT album =]

No More Sorrow = my favourite.

actually if you've listened to all the Limp Bizkit albums, you would know that not one album sounds the same (the first two are the only similar sounding punk/metal). Also they aren't around anymore because Wes moved on to bigger and better things (probably just for the moment), and not because of their sound.

My favourite track is actually In Between.
For those of you who aren't liking it. You just have to listen to it a few times, the way mike repeats between is haunting and fucking awesome.

I love the new sound. I personally think No More Sorrow is going to be my favorite.
I'm glad that Joe Hahn got to add his parts too. I was starting to get worried!
You hear it especially in 'In Pieces.'

I didn't like Mike's singing in In Between. Singing isn't the field where Mike feels comfortable. And yes, Shadow of the day sounds like a copy of Always All ways of Lostprophets.

I like it, personally. It may be a little boring, but I really like his voice.

I love all of the new clips. I think they're great. =D
Especially "In Pieces" and "Bleed It Out".

I guess it's safe to say that their sound has definitely changed....for better or worse is the question. So far from the previews i have mixed feelings....wake, no more sorrow, given up, what i've done, bleed it out, and the little things give you away are the songs i KNOW I'll like maybe even love but the rest...are different in the sense that they sound like the type of music i'm not a fan of, not to mention the lack of Mike in some of these songs feels weird...but as a LP fan i'm counting down the days until i can stand in line anxiously waiting for my copy of MTM and then hopefully LP will prove me wrong.

    just awesome.

The songs on this album are actually targeted to a more mature audience ranging from maybe 16 to as old or even simon cowell?lol Old previous harder rock songs with teen angst are for teenagers. These songs are actually something your parents will love too you know.
