My guess is Q1 2016. Whoever is the most accurate at time of release gets an internet cookie. When it's announced we can all look back at this thread and laugh. Just for funsies.
I think it's too early for this to discuss.. THP is just like 6 months old? I think LP7 will drop by Q3 of 2016. unless LP7 is the indie demos that Mike scrapped for THP sessions, then it's safe to say Q1 of 2016.
That's the point. We're in a news-drought. This is something to predict now so that when something happens we can go back and see who's gut instincts were closer. It's just something fun to do in the meantime.
I think Q2 2016. It seems like a reasonable amount of time, plus they released both of the last two albums in June/July. Maybe they're trying to go for a pattern there. So I'll go with late May/June 2016.
I'm curious, how many demos were done (the visceral ones) during THP sessions? WHITE NOISE is one. Do you think it had the same amount of demos from MTM and ATS & LT? like 100+.. If they focus on just few demos, it might be accurate for a Q1 2016 release.
Except that they probably want nothing to do with those demos at this point, and will likely want to try something entirely new. Depends on what they're feeling. If they wanted to, they could crank out something new by Q1 of 2016, or even late 2015. But I feel like they can be perfectionists at times and wouldn't be surprised if it takes a while given their last albums came out relatively close together.
Anything earlier than Q1 2016 feels like wishful thinking in my eye. Considering the band's been a lot closer to 2 years between albums compared to the 18 months they claimed to want to do. My guess is Summer 2016.
I think Knt.Slbs is saying that, if they wrote less demos for an album, the album might come along faster than if they wrote 100+ demos before whittling down to 12.
Well, Shinoda will have the album fully-written and all the instrumentation done and dusted before Chester gets back into the fold.
