Does anybody no a good store where i can preorder Meteora? Which has the best special and lowest price around South. California? (not online order)
well, i don't know alot about american music stores, so here's my best shot. walmart tends to have cheaper prices than actual music stores, so maybe that'd be a good place. i've heard that sam goody (if you have one in so. cal) and HMV have moderate prices, although HMV has some stupid standoff with Warner Bros where they wouldn't sell the Red Hot Chili Peppers' cd, among other Warner releases. Target and Best Buy could be good too, but you can expect those places to be packed with pre-orders.
Yeah HMV doesn't support Warner Bros. So as far as i know they won't be carrying the CD. Or at least in Canada but i am guessing it is the same as in the states.
isn't HMV a canadian store? didn't know US had it also. If you have Futureshop over there you should check it out, they've got pretty good prices for new releases.
Futureshop is in canada, and it was orginated in canada. off-topic. um i usually buy cds and preorder at musicworld. my best bet there.
As far as I know, Target doesnt take pre-orders (at least not here in Michigan). Honestly IMO unless you live in a big city, you need not worry about selling out.

Yea i got the Reanimation cd at Best Buy the day it came out for $9.99 USD, was very happy! I am going to stop by best Buy on the way home tomorrow to see if i can pre order the cd and try to pick it up in the store on the 25th. Nope, Target doesn't do preorders (i know for a fact since I work there) but I see no need to preorder if you get to the store when they open

not as far as I know. Target.com's music section is run by amazon.com, and I think Amazon lets you preorder

no they dont, but there really isnt a difference between buying music from target.com, cdnow.com or amazon.com because they're all run by Amazon. if you cant find a decent place to preorder, just wake up early Tuesday and go out and buy it. I know I'm doing that
