Pre Order Linkin Park's New Album "The Hunting Party"

Is there a difference between the deluxe CD on LP's site and the one up for preorder on Amazon?

 

The product description on the Amazon album doesn't mention anything about the art book.

Adam just tweeted that the CD/DVD-Combo doesn't include a making-of? What else could it be?

 

I'd like to point out that those who have purchased any tickets for the Carnivores tour should be getting a digital download, as well as the physical CD.
I don't know how much is known about this, but it's something to keep in mind.

 

Guys I just did the pre-order, but I can't find the songs anywhere to download...what am I supposed to do?! Help here please :/

Phew. Finally preordered. Just Deluxe Edition with no add-ons. Happy.

 

when i try to preorder and get to the shopping basket it says: * This product is not available in the requested quantity. 1 of the items will be backordered. why? what does it really mean? i chose the deluxe with t-shirt and chose t-shirt size. i see nothing wrong. maybe im stupid, or just isnt good enought in understanding English.

I've never pre ordered an album before, but I'm thinking to do it now. I want the 36 page booklet.

It's safe? The album always arrive? How much time will it take?

I'm from Chile by the way so if there's any other member from my country, or somewhere near with experience on this would be great.

Ehhh deciding whether I want the deluxe edition with the t-shirt or not.

 

The t shirt not saying THP and Linkin Park on it kills the deal for me.

 

For the sake of being a collector, I'll probably bite and just get the package with everything.

I can definitely understand the band's predicament in regards to the shirt. I don't know about you guys, but I would feel really self conscious wearing a shirt with a giant guy with a bow and arrow . The album cover is probably their best album cover to date, but it just doesn't lend itself to a shirt.

I'm disappointed that there's no DVD. With all of this high quality footage we've been seeing, I've pretty much been assuming that there would be a documentary. Oh well.

A backorder means one of the items you want to order might be out of stock and you will have to wait for it to re-stock so they can be sent to you. It's weird since it's a preorder but they've probably estimating they could be running thin on a certain option.

I had MTM backordered back then, it all arrived ok but late, since I had to wait for a re-stock of the shirt.

 

Seeing as I live in Europe I will probably get the DVD Combo or just the "standard". I would get the deluxe but cannot justify £4 shipping if I can go to the store, get the album for £8 minus the art.

 

Eduardo, I'm from Chile and I've preordered CDs before. It's safe to do it, but it'll probably take between 2-4 weeks to arrive.


I'm still not sure about preordering. They make it sound like the CD package is unique and you won't find it in stores. If that's the case, I guess I'll just preorder it but I'll wait for confirmation. Such a pity there won't be a Making Of DVD though. I can't believe they have people filming them all the time and they just post 5 minute LPTV episodes.
The tshirt design is badass but the 'Until It's Gone' message is kinda random so I'm not getting it.

 

I'm from Holland so that's quite a distance for the order to travel. But the times that I ordered through the LP-site the album package always arrived. Can't really remember if it always was right on time but there's never a very long wait for me.

$15 for a lithogram.....really? Anybody think that's at all worth it?

 

Bummer that there's no DVD. If there's a "making of" on youtube, I'll be satisfied though.
