I suddenly lost one of my closest friends to an addiction of his. I gave him a whole lot, then suddenly, he was gone. This song really spoke to me. Idk how they do it but they always manage to release there new albums exactly when I have to hear them..

    This. A million times this.

I have not heard LIVING THINGS yet, i am not sure what to do about it. A new LP album is such a big deal for me that I kinda like the idea of waiting till release day. I have also not heard this song.

However I am sure there is going to be a song on there somewhere that is just going to break me when I hear it.

When HT came out it was all new to me, but crawling kinda stuck with me at the time.

Metora it was Breaking the habit.

Minutes to midnight came out just as I was going through my first serious relationship breakup and the song was In Pieces.

Thousand Suns came out when my second major and most signification relationship was falling apart, waiting for the end was a song that stuck.

Who knows what LIVING THINGS will bring.

This is the first song made by Linkin Park that made me teary-eyed, I'm not kidding. One of my favorites of the album and a spectacular album conclusion.

I'm having LOATR played at my funeral and I considered changing it to POWERLESS but I don't really want my loved ones to listen to a song thats blaming me them in a way at that point 'You held it all but you were careless' :p

I'm still not fully on board with this song. I do like bridge though. Will get back to this after the other songs have been exhausted.

    This song deserves a sub-forum.

I freakin' love this song. It gave me chills the first I heard it. Chester really shines on this one. The melodies are great and it's the perfect choice to close the album.

Couldn't have picked a better song to close the album with. Powerless might be their most beautiful song yet.

Already some songs made me teary-eyed, but this one did within the first 10 seconds and the first time I heard it.
    +1 this
    this

The song is so great. I hoped that their would be another Iridescent, another Shadow of the Day, another My December,... in the album and this song is exactly what I hoped :).

Powerless is so beautiful. It's even more emotion-striking than Little things give you away.

Great song. Obviously hits some people hard emotionally, so it has done it's job well.

As for funeral songs, I think I still like Shadow of The Day for mine.
