Thinking about it, I wouldn't put it past the band to periodically leak 30 second snippets to "quench the thirst" for the new album, so to speak. It stops people like me listening to the full leak because of the guilt of listening to the snippets haha. Not saying that I think LP are some all-powerful conspiratorial entity controlling our behaviour...but it'd be pretty cool if they were behind this

Maybe you're referring to something different than Minus. Minus was talking about the pop polished sleekness of the first two albums.

MTM was the most "un-shiny" album they've had. Very organic instruments, not overly produced, less doubled vocals, more acousticish drums.
