?? Why so much hate on Meteora!? That's my favorite LP album hands down

I liked what I heard. Can't wait for the leak album!

 

Judging from BIT and LGM and if those previews are legit, I'd say it's more ATS with HT structures.

It seems that the band are now a full on electronic-rock outfit which is absolutely fine with me

 

Snippets are 100% legit

 

I don't see neither the creativity nor the organic sound. All 3 songs have started the exact same from these previews. Intro - verse, same as Burn It Down. Lies Greed Misery is the first one that strays away.

 

Well they are the first 3 songs and I remember Brad saying to someone getting a listen of some of the album that he was going to show them the first. 4 songs as they are so important to hear together...so prolly all fade together

 

I don't see how them being together they have to use the same formulaic structure they've used for most of the past 12 years. It doesn't even make sense. I'm not speaking about energy, which is fine to keep together, but structure and sound. It goes synth -> mellow drum -> full-on guitar and drums. For almost 5 songs in a row.

It wasn't about the electronics but rather about going fucking crazy with the music, the electronic aspect has always been a component of LP's sound.

 

Meteora is good but it's not better than HT, HT owns hands down, but will say that meteora is more deeper and darker than HT

 

Chester or Mike stated somewhere that the first 8 songs are fast and furious, whereas the final 4 are more "creative" and explore further boundaries.

 

He means fast tempo and pop-oriented. Hybrid Theory was a pop album with a hard edge that made you move.

 

Its all opinion I guess...I just really like the lyrical content and music on Meteora...Easier To Run gives me chills everytime I hear it..but HT is a tough runner up

 

I just need to hear this album...i've bought all LPs albums as they came out but i haven't been this excited for one since Meteora...I hate checking back every 10 minutes to see if anything new is out yet haha
