Possible Instrumental Clip of The New Linkin Park Song?

    Today Dreamworks released a brand new trailer for Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen, featuring an instrumental clip of what very well may be the new Linkin Park song written for the upcoming film due in theaters June 24th.

    While nothing is confirmed, the song in question can be heard at 12 seconds in, and plays for several seconds afterward.

    It does sound somewhat like what Mike described in his blog a while back.

    Then again there's only a second or two that isn't interrupted by the rest of the audio, so it's hard to get a handle on it from this alone. That's presuming it is their new song, but I don't recognise it from anywhere else and what you can hear sounds very much like the sort of direction I'd have expected them to be going in, considering Lockjaw. Even if it's not the main song I'd be willing to bet it's a piece they've had a hand in writing and recording.

    From what I can judge from those few seconds, I don't like it. At all. Hopefully the full version is better, if that's even it at all.

    That definitely sounds like a typical Linkin Park instrumental, so it probably is the new song.

    And ugh, Megan Fox is a lucky bitch. :lol:

    The new song is still being mixed (as of Wednesday) according to Mike's blog, and this trailer started being screened in theaters on Wednesday, so I don't see how that could possibly be it.

    It could still be them, without necessarily being the song. They are supposed to be contributing to the score as a whole and I'd be surprised if it's gotten this close to release with absolutely none of it completely finished. Even without that you've got the other pieces of music used in the trailer, which they could've helped write.

    To be honest the trailer/movie looks a little on the shit side. I guess it's an action movie though, doesn't really have to be amazing for it to be likable :p.

    Movie can't be worse than the first one. As for what we heard in the clip, even if it is the Linkin Park song then that tiny bit could definitely be part of either a great or bad song, no way to know. Exciting to think about though!
