Or even better. I really hope it comes out later this year, not next.
Even from all the descriptions of the sound and comparison to other groups, I'm STILL not clear or even have a CLUE on this album will sound. Chester really put a lot of work into it, but from titles alone it seems very iffy to me. Of course, those aren't CONFIRMED, but even yet - I'm not too sure on this one. I'm going to get it, of course, but not sure if it will be worth the wait. If the Let Down at Music for Relief was the acoustic version, and the version on the album is to be a lot heavier, then it might almost sound like pop rock with electric guitars. I dunno, maybe.
I do not want a heavier version of Let Down. It's perfect this way.
I hope this album compensates for the lack of screaming in MTM in it's own unique way. And yeah, as someone mensioned before, I really hope it is as good as TRT (or even better).
Oh right, I could have sworn I saw Sean's name in there somewhere before though. Ah well, who cares.
Wow, this is pretty exciting, I can't wait to hear this album, I'll be it'll be terrific.
Morning After & let down are terrific, and hopefully they'll be the weakest tracks on the record. I'm kinda hoping for a sound like 'State of the art', I know DJ lethal helped make it but Chesters lyrics were so emotional and powerfull. Same with his little part in 'Rock & roll (could never hip hop like this)' *see my signiture*. As well as the music, chesters vocals/lyrics were astonishingly good.
Go to "Media" then click on the EPK video.
All of your questions are now answered.
I think Mr. Suffering=My Suffering. I don't know if somebody has said this, but I'm too trashed to look at the rest of the thread.
Also, you can just browse through the website.....
That will answer all these questions as well.
what i have to say about julien-k is that ryan's a good singer. he seriously almost sounds like jay ... but, damn it, i wanna see that "kick the bass" video!
its gonna be fucking amazing judging by the pictures and clips from the epk
I agree, I may primarily be a fan of heavier music, but Let Down couldn't possibly be improved in my opinion. Love that song, and I'm sure I'll love the whole album.
I really hope he does a change in the music. Maybe some highs and lows with his voice. He tends to keep to just one tone in Linkin Park's songs. Hopefully this solo will show a change.
in my opinion, julien-k and dead by sunrise are probably gonna be better than orgy.
i mean, orgy are really awesome and all and i love them, 'cause "vapor transmission" was the sh*t, but this'll probably be the first material from anyone in orgy that'll even compare to "candyass" and "vapor transmission".
but, yeah, that's just judging by "kick the bass".
Yea VT was the first album I got by them, and I loved every second of it. From what I've heard of Julien-K, they're pretty damn good. And if DBS is in the same manner, it'll kick major ass.
P.S. Can anyone tell me when Julien-K is suppose to release something? I'd really like to hear an album by them.
At this point no one knows for sure when the album is slated to come out but it is very very close to release.
The DBS album? its not coming out anytime soon
shes talking about the JK album Death to Analog
If this is real, then I am more than satisfied for his solo. I've been wanting it badly ever since I heard about it a couple years ago. I think the most interesting track may be Mr.Suffering, sounds awesome.
This entire thread has been deemed wrong by an actual member of Julien-K... in repsonse to a similar thread on the Julien-K message boards (and this info came from another LINKIN PARK site may I add) Ryan from the band actually responded with
almost everyone of those names are wrong. close. but not right at all.
and no. im not going to clarify.
lol at you guys jumping the gun
Separate names with a comma.
