Ive just finished reading the topic that Will posted in Other Music (About KoRn's Jonathan Davis) and i was thinking, What are your opinions on this, Is there anything you strongly disagree with or strongly agree with, Do you think that some women are exploited during the filming, I would just like to hear other peoples opinions.

Also please please please remember the keep it clean rule, I dont want people getting banned.

Yes, people: Please remember the keep-it-clean rule. If anyone is even close to breaking the rule, they will be warned. If anything gets out of hand in this thread, it will be closed, locked, deleted, burned and tossed out to sea.

As for my opinion, I think it's pretty boring most of the time. I'll admit, I've seen my share of videos and they're all the same. I haven't looked at any porn for quite a few months now and I've been able to feel my IQ steadily rise because of it.

Well rather than claim it lowers my IQ or what not I'll be honest and say that I heavily enjoy porn and probably wouldn't be how I am now if I didn't watch it as much as I did from the age of 13 ^_^.

I only like the real sh*t that you get off of KaZaA, the stuff that features real chicks (some of which are kind of hot half the time) and that you know wasn't staged or convieniently angled to look real. Yeah some of the actually produced stuff on Cinemax can be good but I find that if I really want something hot, my best option is to load up the trusty KaZaA and download away.

Some people may argue that porn is explotative of women, but in the real stuff..it's their choice of whether they want to be recorded or not so therefore there should be no reason why they feel exploited because simply enough, they arent obligated to do the act in the first place (unless its a rape..but I dont wanna get into that).

I always found porn to be stupid. The story lines that most pornos carry don't make sense. I mean, what are the chances you bump into a girl and already she wants to engage in sexual activities with you? I'm sorry - that's never happened to me.

I'm more into romance than sex. And yes, there's a difference between the two for me. =P

Real/Amateur Porn doesn't have storylines..it just has the act itself with everything shown.

But yeah, I'd much rather have a girlfriend who I'm madly in love with first, then have sex like mad.

Actually, some pornos do have storylines. But the fact that they suck and don't make much sense is what makes it seem like there is no storyline.

    Porn is stupid.

I've gone a full year without viewing porn once. And art on dA with nudity doesn't count. It's art, not porn.

It has turned a whole society of young people into sexually hungry freaks.

It is an exploitation of women. Even if they choose to do it, it's still wrong.

I don't have much of an opinion, but I must be one of the few people in my school to go this long without porn. Don't see me stopping any time soon either.

I personally don't enjoy porn. I wouldn't feel comfortable seeing a naked guy anyway even if there's a girl there with him. You gotta admit the names they come up with for these are funny and clever though.

I have to admit, I'm a sexually hungry freak. I enjoy looking at videos a few times a week and will keep doing so.

I don't see what's wrong with looking at it. It's not like video games where you can (supposedly) get influenced by violence. People choose to have videos shot of them, and even if they don't, they are available on the internet for viewing. I have been caught with porn by my parents, but being the defiant teenager I am :p , I keep doing it.

Maybe I'm not into having sex and into actual romance first, but I enjoy viewing sex.

It's another one of those socially wrong issues. Our society was brought up against porn, but I'm not going to stop just because it's supposedly wrong.

I want to hear what people think is wrong with it. I'm not starting an argument, but I just wanna take the considerations to mind.

I have no problem with porn... it's just another form of entertainment. I also don't think it women are exploited in the porn industry, because it's just another type of job, and they chose it as their career. I'm not a frequent porn viewer, but I do think that some of it can be incredibly cheesy... like Felix said, the names that they come up with in those movies are funny!

    Very creative indeed.

As long as it keeps people's sexual urges in control, I guess porn actually helps out society.

Meh. I have a porn addiction, but I'm trying to go on a diet. No porno for 3 days so far. I used to watch it on average every day, but lately, I've been trying to stop because I feel pathetic and desperate. =\

Porn is changing, just like everything else.

I walked into a store and saw porn on DVD.

I got freaked out. Not because it was porn...

But because it was on DVD. (side note: What would they do for special features?)

Porn, I don't know. I guess for some it's another way to blow off steam and for others it's an addiction. It can be good or bad.

Porn is just another form of entertainment in my opinion, as for it exploiting women, i dont think so (in most cases). Porn doesnt exploit women, it exploits the men who buy it.

    Sounds painful..dunno why.

I know there are definitely no subtitles for porn too. Maybe a theatrical trailer leaving you in suspense?

I have mixed feelings. I don't watch it personally (accidently stumbling onto websites when misspelling words years ago scarred me for life) and on one hand, I think it's def. exploiting sex in general. On the other hand, like it's been said before, it's the girls choice to do it, and the viewer's choice to watch it.

I guess I'm not totally against it, but I do think it should be taken off the net. I know it can't be easily stopped, but even just shutting down the major sites would stop kids from stumbling onto it accidentally.

I don't know. I'm really just rambling here, I've never thought about the subject at length.
