<div align=center>Perfection Through Silence #2 The shadows fall all around me I cannot see and to see at all would be maddening The darkness holds a frightening secret And knowing it would lead to regret It is hard to know as the dark ends up killing thunder I can only stand here and stare in wonder What lies beyond me in the shadows of the night? I can only dream about again seeing light As the wind howls through the trees Everything around me ceases to be I can hear the creeping footsteps of death Slowly coming upon me and I can feel its breath The shadows have taken me down I can feel them pulling me underground Perfection through silence Is what the light offers instead of violence But death knows no good And darkness wants that to be understood My life is taken away again As the beginning ends and the ending begins Storybooks and fairytales burn here Where evil lives and does not hear The cries of the children missing their stories As their parents tell them not to worry But the shadows of the night could care less As they reach up to the children and caress Their souls with their bloodstained fingers To upon the children let evil linger The window slowly opens and a cool breeze Enters the room to keep the child at ease While the darkness slowly steals Away from the child everything he feels And locks it tight in its jar full of nothingness And as the breeze leaves the room in a mess Darkness curls back under the bed And the Sandman begins to rest the child’s head For another night of torture and death In Hell after the child’s last breath Perfection through silence Is what the light offers instead of violence But death knows no good And darkness wants that to be understood The light cannot combat the evils in the shadows When the sun goes down it is sent to the gallows Where it is killed for yet another night Only to be resurrected in fright Of the darkness overtaking the entire world And grasping everyone in its evil unfurled When the sun stops shining And the children stop their whining The darkness will have won And an evil reign shall have begun</div> I know that it is totally different from the demo that I posted a few days ago, but this is the real theme that I wanted to go for with the song title that I chose.
