So this news is now a month old but apparently the band are on an "indefinate hiatus". Just DJ sets from now on. Possibility of an album next year but Rob's tweets sounded like they've pretty much decided to call it quits.
Pendulum Official Twitter Rob says it's not the end but everything apart from that sort of indicates that the live band is no more.
I don't see the big deal unless the other members were big creative inputs for Rob. Doesn't he basically put everything together himself on the computer anyways?

Knife Party are playing at this years Creamfields festival in the UK. I would of gone originally but this news has doubly secured my attendance now for me!
Knife Party are playing Future here in Australia at the moment too. They have their own Ear Storm stage which they're curating. Yeah, I think they're definitely among the best live electronic acts music has ever seen.

That's kind of lame but I can understand it. It comes across to him as people saying "I miss Pend and I don't like this Knife Party thing ..." which probably makes him uncomfortable. But, yeah, that sucks for people who are fans of both acts and want to express that. :/
