I think we can keep it here. We ought to change the thread title to include Knife Party as well, I think. Could anyone please re-up the Ibiza set for me? I'm having some trouble with archive files at the moment
I can't even download it. I've been trying for ages. Also, thanks minuteforce, I now have the whole studio set on my iPod. Wait, what does he mean by this?
I just tweeted the link, so that's that. I've already gotten kudos from a couple of people - we'll see else what happens.
sorry for the double post but.. Knife Party's new remix of Unison by Porter Robinson in our 'UKF mix'
;D They fool you into thinking it'll be a heavy fidget track but it slows down for the drop. Everybody's onto the Moombahton now ;P
I am still keenly awaiting the EP, and a show in Australia. Also, Bandsaw is now officially titled Antidote.
It's mostly heavy fidget stuff, and, then, some of it is dubstep, there's a bit of drumstep going on as well and a fair amount of Moombahton (or whatever you call it) as well. All of it is aggressive and dirrrty. Pendulum have touched on fidget house and dubstep before (the second half of "The Island" and "Set Me On Fire", respectively) and Swire made a drumstep remix of "Witchcraft" last year - if you liked any of those, Knife Party's music is like those tracks, but heavier and more abrasive.
I forgot to post this when it was tweeted. The Knife Party EP has been announced. It is titled 100% No Modern Talking. It will feature the tracks: Internet Friends, Tourniquet, Fire Hive, and Back To The Z-List. It will be available for free, as well as on iTunes, Beatport and and anywhere else they decide to put it (unsure whether it will be free on those sites). There will be no physical version. Apparently, Nero are putting out their "Crush On You" rmx as a single on iTunes on October 16. Don't know yet when Swedish House Mafia are putting out "Antidote", but I'm sure that's not too far away. EDIT: Looks like SHM are putting out "Antidote" as a single of sorts for their upcoming live release, "One Night Stand". The track was played on Pete Tong's show and that recording is up here.
