Yeah, Gareth and Swire have mentioned that and said that that the finished versions would be far superior. I assume that means the leaked copy contains unfinished versions of the tunes. They later also said the track labelled "Sleaze" in the leaked release is actually an unfinished tune that won't be on the EP.
I thought Rob just said that what people thought was labeled as Sleaze on many of their set videos wasn't Sleaze... because in the leaked copies, it's just a finished version of that Until They Kick Us Out choon with Mistajam. I kind of hope that's true though, because I don't care so much for that one. Anyone else feel like Bonfire is Fire Hive mixed with Tarantula? Hahaha it sounds like a mix between those two.
I like them since 2007, I think. They're really great. .-. And their concerts, man, are simply awesome. Serious. Sometimes I think live they are even better than the studio recordings.

YOUUUUU ;D But, fair enough. ;P Definitely. With Pendulum, everything sounds better when performed live. Even when the studio recordings are already amazing, the songs are better in every way when they're taken on-stage. But, on the other hand, a lot of people seemed to have a problem with Verse (and emcees in general).
"Rage Valley" promo: I haven't checked out any leaked copies of the EP so I've learned from this video that "Sleaze" is an updated version of "Until They Kick Us Out" awesome and that "Bonfire" is a drumstep track. I was pretty excited before; I'm a little more excited now. ;P The EP comes out within the next couple of days on Beatport.
Rage Valley if amazing, bought it today! Rage Valley is an excellent opener, and a highlight of the EP. Centipede is fucking amazing. Bonfire is Ok, but not as good as the first too, and I will be honest, the closer (Sleaze) is pretty dissapointing, i don't see why people like it... But thats just my opinion.
Sleaze is actually massive when it's on a good set of speakers. On my laptop it was kind of meh, but I blasted it in my car and the bass is fucking insane.
There's another thread for Pendulum/Knife Party already. http://www.lpassociation.com/forums/showthread.php?t=32193&highlight=pendulum
Well, at least Swire's still making music. I was looking forward to the "violent punk" ideas he seemed so excited about but, whatever.
Knife Party are good but they don't spark my interest even nearly as much as Pendulum did. 2011 was indeed a year of awesome electronic-rock bands breaking up.
So happy to hear the incredibly awesome news this morning that they are splitting up! I have been smiling all day. Really hate these group of guys with a passion! Getting so many text messages from friends that are absolutely delighted by this news. Great day for music! We are getting together later for a few drinks to celebrate!
