Well.. as you all know, i'm the most worst member of this board who has the most problems with pc's Here's the deal, 2days ago, when i started my pc up.. it did normal as everyday ; i had to turn it off 20x.. and then put it on 20x.. but then it got strange. Everything got fontsize 2000.. you know? like BIG . so.. i thought : " damnit! that stupid Bill Gates can't make normal pc's! " So my brother was about to call the guy who fixed it always. But then i say to me bro: why don't i try to fix it? He said: go ahead Now.. the whole size2000 is now cleared, but i don't have a mouse AND the worst part, music... We can't live without music right? Now my stupid question is: How to install my mouse? I tried to delete it off System but then it comes back the whole musicthing comes later Thanks anyway
i have a suggestion to try to fix the sound. Go to start | all programs | acceseries | entertainment | volume control look in thier see if anything is muted or turned down. the mouse i have no idea sorry!
Hmmm...try system restore, maybe you deleted a driver or something important. Make a full virus/spy-ware scan over the entire computer and see if you can spot anything... also...try using your start-up disk...you know the one that actually contained the OS data you're using (It's the disk that came with the PC) There should be a window in the control panel that says which driver each piece of hardware is using, if you click something on there, it should auto-search it for you =\ That's all I can think of for now I'm afraid mate >_>'
now, my virus-scanner only works with a mouse, and lets see if it works ...no but thanks, i'll check for the starting disc or re-installing the mouse?
Checklist 1- Check if everything is well plugged. 2- Check your drivers are installed (Control Pannel, System) 3- If no, get em ! If yes, update them. 4- Plug headphones in the speaker plug to see if the problem comes from the speakers 5- Raise the sound you... J/K . 6- If everything fails, open your computer and check if your sound card is well installed. 7- If it fails again, change your soundcard. 8- If it still fails, open the window and throw your computer outisde (that's why Windows is called Windows )
go to control panel, and add remove new hardware, and let it scan for it, if it comes up there, its not installed properly, it happened to me out of the blue, i had to get a new soundcard :wth:
Think of it this way, Chris: at least you still aren't waiting for a new motherboard for your computer.
the easy way to get ur mouse working (that is if ur not using a laptop) is to put a new 1 in. that is a different 1 to the 1 ur using. it should come up with mouse detected or somethin especially if u use a usb port mouse. or u can download the drivers off the net. but as i cant read uve fixed the mouse problem  . 4 the soundcard u should reinstall the drivers. or u may have fried the soundcard, which has happened to me b4 Staff Edit: I merged your posts, try not to double post, please. ~LPFAN05
you need to go into control panel and click on add/remove progs unistall the your sound driver then put the sound driver cd in and auto run u dont have to unistall the sound drivers but its usually a good idea soz bout the previous post. i didnt read that u had fixed the problem
