Excuse me if this news post is incoherent, because my mind just got blown.

Just moments ago during Linkin Park and Jay-Z's performance of "Numb/Encore", Paul McCartney made a surprise appearance on stage and engaged in a duet of The Beatles' "Yesterday" with Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington in what will undoubtedly go down as one of the most memorable moments of Linkin Park's career.

Once video and audio becomes available, we will let you know.

Edit: MP3 here and here. Video here.

Thanks to Linkin Park Brazil! & Center Iceman

    I haven't seen it yet. I can't wait.

But I can't believe Numb / Encore won the award! That's awesome.

I love how Paul comes on stage all smooth and sings "suddenly..." over that hiphop beat.

    Paul's so gangsta!!

That was amazing. I like how the tone of numb was mellowed down a little. Chester and Paul sang great together.

Now...all that's left is the announcement?

That was really awesome. I bet Linkin Park were very honoured to share the stage with a member of the biggest band in the universe.

That would have been amazing without Jay-Z grunting. He completley ruined what would have been an awesome performance.
