As I was looking for some demos, I found this song in in this website that says 'Papercut Demo". At first I thought it was fake, cause I've never heard about it, but when I listen to it, it sounds like a demo, and is sung differently (like Live In Texas version). Please tell me it's real! ps. It's in my site (under my sig)
Actually that's Papercut Live from the BBC off the Crawling single. The one on the HT Special Edition is from Docklands Arena. The BBC one has no crowd in it, it was recorded live in a studio. It's the closest thing to a Papercut "demo" you'll find, since it is a studio version, but since it was made after Hybrid Theory was released, it's obviously not a demo.
You got served. [/b][/quote] Sorry! Edit: Will, I'm so putting that in my sig. :chemist: Edit again: *Points to sig*
There probably was, since bands demo basically every song before they record it in the studio, unless it's concieved while they're recording. (One example: Numb was concieved 2 weeks before the band went into the studio at NRG to record Meteora, so they probably never had time to record a demo of it.) All the demos off of Hybrid Theory that we have were released either on sampler CDs (Now I See, Esaul, Super Xero) or through the band's old website when they were still called Hybrid Theory. They didn't release them all, which is why we're most likely never going to see the demos of Papercut, Runaway, Cure for the Itch, or Pushing Me Away. (Or any other song pre-Hybrid theory they demoed but didn't make the album.)
