No, they had one's before that. It's a great concert, I listen to it often. Especially And One and Forgotten which are really hard to find live.

Ironically And One live at Orlando was one of the first Live songs I found from them.

But for their very first shows. No honest clue. They possible could of performed some Demo's, or songs when they where known as Xero.

yeah.. but they only wrote 4 songs under them of "xero"

i was thinkin maybe their first concert may a bit like the orlando one, except for earlier..... maybe in feburary/march of 2000..

and i doubt that they wouldve done a gig while not under a record contract.

but they couldve... u know how u see those losers performing in bars, clubs and restraunts....

but what i ment from this topic was.....

when was LP first concert under the name "linkin park" and had a contact with warner bros.

sorry if i lost in this thread :teehee:

LP's first concert as Linkin Park was probably around mid-July of 2000. They were still called Hybrid Theory in June of 2000 (last show listed in the tour dates on the old hybridtheory.com website was in early June), and the first tour date that was listed on linkinpark.com's tour archive was like July 22nd or something. So somewhere in about a month and a half span was their first show with the name Linkin Park.

The earliest shows they ever played though were as Xero in 1996/1997, and actually, if you wanna be technical, Relative Degree (Brad and Rob's first band together) played their first/only show in I think 1994.

And Xero wrote more than 4 songs, they just used 4 on the demo tape. A lot of the songs on Hybrid Theory started in Xero as well as a few song titles that we know of but have never been released (Pictureboard, Explode, The Team...).
Lots of bands play shows when they aren't signed. My friend Matt's band The Merkurs have played over 300 shows all over the USA, driving around the country in a van and paying for everything themselves from ticket sales alone. And they have a ton of fans from all over, they play and sell out small concert halls all the time (500+ people). So yeah, just because they weren't signed didn't mean they didn't play.
