Yup. In fact, I think it's ridiculous that Mike's the rapper in this band and he cursed on like 3-4 tracks.
Really? I still don't get why people think this way. I know, opinions and all, but these kinds of words can be used to effectively display emotion. I'm not saying people have to like swearing in music, but to say it's lazy is a bit far-fetched.
I agree. It's one thing to be like *insert generic pussy and weed rapper here* and say swear words just to fill space in the song. Linkin Park doesn't swear that much (just enough to get PAs on two of their albums) and when they do it seems that they do it out of emotion. In the end it's their choice if they wanna cuss, though I do remember in their early days they had an anti cussing stance and even self censored high voltage (it said shit 3 times, and they blanked all of them), so I wonder what made them change their mind.
Its good just as long as its not about getting "Money" and fuc*ing "B*tches" and degrading women. And being a pimp lol
Says the person active on a Kanye West forum. I fucking love Kanye, but c'mon. You can't get much lazier.
3-4? Don't think so. Let's count. If "bitch" and "crap" counts: ... Fuck me, I don't have the will to do this. Anyway, pretty sure he does it on more than 3-4 tracks.
Bleed It Out When They Come For Me Blackout Given Up Keys To The Kingdom All For Nothing Hands Held High? well maybe some more...
Mike's rapping is more fluid before they started pasting in curse words. In some songs it works (ie KTTK) but overall, it doesn't work for them honestly...
I agree. I don't think it is lazy song writing at all, it can really add emotion in certain situations.
I don't care. Enough hearing the curse words from my rl brother. So what's the difference between hearing it from my LP bros?
