    Happy Birthday for then!

Good point, it doesn't bother me a great deal.

About What I've Done in response to the above quote: I remember when I first heard the piano opening and I thought it was intriguing and awesome.

About We Made It: I can't be sure with the low quality of the clips, but I think there is guitar in the chorus.

didnt people say that the piano opening sounds similar to the "Halloween" theme? I STILL cant tell, but apparently it is.

I'm a keyboard player and I can confirm right now that the two are nothing alike.

Similar horror theme style maybe but certainly nothing else.

well, after listening the 60-second song (intro and chorus) i think it's okay, nothing wrong with that.
that song (i.m.o) so gangsta when i heard chester said "on the road, on the road..." (correct me if i'm wrong guys)
and if you guys judge that Busta ruins the song, that's okay because it's a collaboration song with LP and you guys are the big fans of LP,so you will think that busta ruins LP's voice/style or whatever.
but, if you are big fans of busta, may be you'll think that LP's ruining busta's song.
so, let's judge from the neutral side.
once more, correct me if i did wrong...

brad's guitar part at the end is dope, man. :)

    Yo, when it all got
Started, we were steadily just gettin' rejected, and it seemed like
Nothin' we could do would ever get us respected, at best, we
Were stressed and, at worst, they said we're pathetic, had all the
Pieces to that puzzle, just no way to connect it, I was
Fightin' through every rhyme, tightenin' up every line
Never restin' to question if I was out of my mind, it
Finally came time to do it or let it die, so we put
The chips on the table and told 'em to let it ride, sing it

Hahninator wrote on lplive.net that it sounded like Papercut, which I first thought when I heard it. That's not necessarily a bad thing, it makes it likeable as most of us would already like Papercut. :p

Addition: I know there are obvious pitch differences between the two parts and that in Papercut it's played as a sample live/not guitar.

Better than I thought it would be. Definitely a killer radio track.

Mike delivers, which is what I expect from him.

    It's been a while since he did an 8-liner. That's, like ... old-school LP sh*t.

I don't like how Busta raps. I can't make out a lot of it and it just sounds annoying.

Busta is predominately a club rapper. His tracks are made to be club hits, which is why when you listen to this song, it actually seems pretty odd.

Busta's rapping is just...REALLY off-sync with the beat. It sounds like he rapped the words first, and then Cool & Dre tried to write an instrumental under it. It sounds like he wasn't even listening to the song when he cut his verses, that's how off it sounds.

Why is Busta accelerating at some point and then slowing down? It doesn't even fit with the music  And that "children, children.."part is just awful lol.
    Mike's part is okay.
Sad that Chester didn't have something else to sing.

I give it about a B+. It's not a terrible track, and I can see myself listening to this a lot...it just isn't phenomenal. Like Ander said a few months ago, this track will either sound 'dead on' or 'slightly weird'. It's more of the latter.
