The thing about these kinds of threads is that if they are successful then you'll have to search through pages and pages to find information that you may nor not be interested it. Whereas if you had a subforum that said Recepies, a person could post them all individually. Anyway here's an old and heart-fattening one.

The Amazingly Simple Burger for Amazingly Simple Cookers

    Ingredients:
    A bit of lettuce
    1/2 cup chopped onion
    1 Angus hamburger
    Hamburger buns, with sesame seeds
    3-4 slices of bacon
    2-3 slices of tomato
2 slices of aged Swiss french cheese, (imported from france, can buy at Wal-mart deli)

2 sandwich bags both each separately filled with

1/2 Cup of A1 Steak Sauce
    1/4 tablespoon of black pepper
1/4 Cup of Tabasco Hot Sauce
1/4 tablespoon of table salt (can go without)

    ------------------------------
    Steps:

1.) Marinate the hamburger in one bag
2.) Marinate the bacon in the other one
3.) Let them sit in the refrigerated for about an hour and 30 minutes
4.) Grill/fry(grill baby grill!) the hamburger/bacon until it's well done
5.) Lightly toast the bottom bun (top one, optional)
6.) place one slice of cheese on burger while it's still hot
7.) place the onions on top of cheese,
8.) place the other slice of cheese on top of the onions
9.) place the tomatoes onto of the second slice of cheese
10.) place the lettuce on the bottom bun
11.) place 1, 1/2 piece of bacon on top of burger and 1, 1/2 on top of lettuce
12.) this is important now, put the burger on the bottom bun on top of the bacon/lettuce!
13.) put the two buns together

    and enjoy.

We're doing these as an experiment to see if the idea takes off. If they do..we will DEFINITELY be making a separate forum. So LPAers: If you want a diet/exercise and food recipes forum...contribute to this thread like crazy!

Because then it'd not be the Amazingly Simple Burger for Amazingly Simple Cookers, anymore.

It'd be The Amazingly Great burger for the Amazingly Genius Cookers.

    :p

It's not the time that matters, it's the concept. Man, if you cook you should know this. :p

    Chicken Parmesan

1 chicken breast per person, pounded thin, like falling apart thin *usually 1/8 inch thick*
    Italian bread crumbs
    Parmesan cheese, finely grated
    1 egg, beaten
    mozzarella cheese, grated
1 jar of marinara pasta sauce (or make your own)
    pasta for however many people

Mix the Italian bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese together
Dip the chicken into the egg
Coat the chicken with the bread crumb mixture
Fry the chicken in a skillet that's lightly coated with oil, it doesn't take long, just brown on both sides, about 5 minutes per side on medium heat.
Pour the pasta sauce over the chicken, and wait until it starts to bubble slightly, then sprinkle the mozzarella on top, until melted.

Serve with pasta and sourdough bread.
