OK, this isn't so much a problem as an annoyance, but I wanted to know if anyone would be able to shed any light on it. Basically, if I'm on a page with any Flash on it, even if it's a small Flash ad, it takes extra time for any link I click on to load. If I'm able to scroll down and cause the Flash to not be viewable (so it's "off-screen"), the link I clicked loads almost instantly. In a nutshell: When Flash is on the screen, links don't load as quickly as when there's no Flash on the screen. Any idea what causes this? And for the record, I just formatted, and everything is up to date.
I am not really sure at all, but it could just be that flash takes up additional system resources, causing further actions to be slowed down.
That's basically what I thought, but I also thought, if there's any underlying problems, maybe I could take care of them, y'know? Oh, well.
