Yeah, its mixed together well! The chorus is, in general, louder than the verse. Take LP for example. And every once in a while Mike does do a Pre-chorus where he raps!

 

yeah, thanks, i don't event try to be like LP, though, but since I am a rapper I thought a rap pre-chorus would be an awesome way to lead into the screaming when it is recorded a few months from now.
