Haha yeah, because Limpbizkit are going to come back, full force, and sell 200,000+ in the first day, right? Wrong. It's over for Limpbizkit unless they decide to advertise, but it looks like Fred wants to be underground again.
I dont care if it would sell 1 copy in a year. Its about if you like the album or not. And I like it and i dont care if Fred doesnt want to promote the album. Big deal.
I bet you would when it causes the band to break up.
Damn I dont care if they sell 1 copy, as they dont break up
Damn I dont care if they sell 1 copy, as they dont break up
Wes Borland would probably leave. And that's all that really matters, in the long run.
you guys wanna know something. I think Fred was sick of the spotlight, and hell if i was him, I would be too. From a highly publicised relationship with Britney Spears, to a sex tape on the net, you think this guy cares about fame and fortune now? I'm sure they still got fuck loads of money but he wanted to be in a band because he enjoyed it. The only person he wants to please is himself, and I dont see a problem with that. Maybe he was at a point in life where he was just too big a name to go around and not be followed, and ranted about. He prefers the underground style basically is what hes been saying. He isn't trying to sell records which is obvious. But why would you? Just to make money, and to make a living is why alot of people make albums. He is sick of being harassed so he's making music where the only people who will buy it are diehard fans. I'm sure the company would have promoted the cd....IF he wanted it to be. They can still fucking sell albums if they want. Like their last CD, sold 1.4 million. Like hell, I'd be happy if I sold 100 records. But Realistically, a million albums sold is huge. Just leave the guy alone and let him be, its not about making money and selling out to him anymore. It's about making good music and having the friends he wants in his life (The band). The CD may not have been the greatest, but it had some decent tracks and they're just trying out new things. Now get off his back already.
The thing is, it is easier to go from underground to mainstream, than mainstream to underground. It just doesn't work that way.
