Any tips on other Nu-Metal/Rock groups besides from Linkin Park, Korn, System Of A Down, Limp Bizkit, Papa Roach, RHCP to listen to. I like rock/nu-metal music with instrumentals, guitar/bass solo, etc.
I'm surprised no one mentioned Faith No More yet. They're basically the godfathers of nu-metal and aside from Hybrid Theory-era Linkin Park, they're the best to have done it.
I'm surprised no one's mentioned Slipknot yet. They're also probably one of the few relatively well-liked nu metal bands, if only because they're a lot heavier than almost every other band in the genre and arguably some of the most willing to experiment.
Definitely early Deftones. Early Incubus as well I guess. The first Mudvayne record was solid. Oh, and there was Spineshank. "The Height Of Callousness" was one of my teenage favorite albums.
Evanescence for sure Breaking Benjamin (although I only like The Diary of Jane by them) Also Creed and skillet (don´t know if both are considered Christian Rock or Nu Metal)
