LINKIN PARK

Linkin Park fans mark November 4th on your calendars. That's when a live CD and DVD will be released, but don't expect a track listing or album title for at least a few more weeks.

Linkin Park vocalist Mike Shinoda explains how the video content of the DVD was captured.

SHINODA: "We taped a couple of the Summer Sanitarium shows, knowing very well that you know, a lot of people who would want to see that... that tour that weren't gonna get to see it. So we taped two of the shows and we're putting together this... I think it's really beautiful, it's done on 35-milimeter for the most part, and that just... usually our stuff is done on DV just for that like home video kind of feel, but we really wanted to push it and make it like... artistically just make it a little bit more... hopefully a little bit more mature maybe. I don't know, 35-milimeter has its own feel, it's cool."

I looked for it too. All it was was information we already know. In the article it does not give November 4th as the release date.

Damn, I didn't see that. I searched for Linkin Park and the first article was talking about the DVD and had parts of that in there, but not the release date.

I think that the SSL (Summer Sanitaruim Live as I would like to refer it to now) is happening in the same format that OLP's Live was released. CD, then DVD.

The remixes then are probably going to be on LPU 3.0.
