    I love this song...
I think is one of my favorite b-side songs.
And Brad's guitar is just classic and for some reason, it still remainds me of one of their old songs.

    Hmm...

On my first listen, the song was like a: Eh, so what?

On my second, though, I started to think, hey, this is a pretty good song. The guitar sounds BIO-ish, though. Mike does have some great vocals in this song. I wouldn't go as far as calling it one of my favorites, but I'd put it probably one notch below. It doesn't sound that epic, but still a good song nonetheless.

Yeah this song is boss! Mike has very unique vocals in this compared to his other works.

This is on my top 3 LP songs EVER. It's absolutely beautiful, and raw, too.

Not compared to CD audio quality. iTunes for whatever boneheaded reason expects people to PAY for lossy-compressed audio files. Not to mention that the iTunes download of the song is mastered so far into the red that it actually distorts the signal.

songs on most CDs released in the last 15 years or so peak at -0.1db. the same goes for tracks on the iTunes store, which are no doubt just ripped from the CD masters.

    but you know this.

Right, because when you hit 0dB, it starts distorting the signal. I don't know what iTunes is doing then, because almost every song I've ever gotten from there goes into the red. My audio file of NRL is directly from iTunes, just with the DRM removed, and it flat out buries itself in the red on the bridge of the song (I just see a solid wall when I open the file in Cool Edit, can't even see the peaks and valleys of the sound waves unless I zoom in).

iTunes has nothing to do with it. ALL music you buy on CD is this way. and if it is all on iTunes, then everything on iTunes will be that way too.
