I read this earlier & judging by the letter, I'm not really too bothered & I think it's for the best. I know I wouldn't like someone like her in my band, it's a shame that the money and the business side of things can overwhelm the passion for music in some people. I hope (& I think they will) they find a suitable replacement.
It's a shame she's such a bitch, she has a fantastic voice which has reduced me to tears on occasions. But yes, it's for the best, and i'm not going to cry any tears for her. The letter that was sent, it's from blabbermouth.net A woman from another forum I visit, a fin says: Just watched the news from the telly, and apparently Tarja Turunen is shocked because she feels that making the issue public like that, in the form of an open letter, was both sad and cruel.
Its totaly Fair.. Tarja didnt write any lyrics, and like some of u said; Every Artist who is getting greedy is not worth listning to" though she had a great voice. but Nightwish will Go On !
Seriously? Well what the bloody hell was she doing in the band? [/b][/quote] I think it was just for the money and for the success... She was greedy for cash and wanted to take advantage of Nightwish to hit it big in the music biz and to get famous...^^
It's too bad, she has a beautiful voice. I'm excited to hear their new vocalist though, when/if they get one.
She apparently doesn't like metal in any form. Maybe she enjoyed singing for them, doing something different and all that, or maybe she was in it for money all along.
she took nightwish for granted, shame...she will prbably venture into her own music career..but she derserves that open letter by what the band memebers said
